Well, I said to Mr.M....we should buy the kids one nice piece of furniture each year for their birthdays. This I said when they graduated college. His comment? "Give them the junk around here, and let's us buy some new stuff!" Needless to say I had to pinch myself, until I realized he wasn't really gonna give up his fave chair, or old desk chair. And so...about 8 years later, we are still rambling on the same old stuff.
I finally decided Enough is Enough!!! and thus have begun the Art of ReDecorating, Reusing, Renewing, Repainting and on it goes. This blog is a tribute to the fact that new furniture is way too high priced, and not made like the old stuff. And I should have realized my kids wouldn't want this tired old stuff, when they set their apartments up with all spanking new pricy fandango stuff.
